Gear Games develops iOS/Android games with high concurrent users and heavy network traffic in global markets (US, Europe, Arab). Alongside game development, we also build web-based platforms to support and enhance our gaming ecosystem.

To keep up with our growth, we are seeking a talented Web Frontend Engineer to design and optimize scalable, high-performance systems.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Contribute to architectural design to ensure the scalability and efficiency of web solutions.

• Implementing new features as defined in the roadmap

• Implement new web tools required by the game team

• Enhance existing tools and features, optimizing them for better performance and usability

• Debug and resolve issues to maintain seamless and stable performance

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirement:

• 2+ years of experience in large-scale ReactJS applications

• Solid experience in JavaScript ES6/TypeScript

• Solid experience in all areas of web development (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JSON) including accessibility and security concerns

• Solid experience in modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Git, Webpack, NPM)

• Proficiency in Redux, Redux-Saga,

• Experience in using front-end testing and test runners (eg, Mocha/Chai/Jest).

• Experience in using LLM Coding tools (Claude Code/ Codex / etc.).

• Good experience in Agile (Scrum model) development environments

• Well-versed in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable, and clean code

• Excellent in problem-solving and analytical skills

• Development experience in games/ mobile games is an advantage

• Basic English

• Great attitude and work ethic

Plus:

• Experience in Cloud computing, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure

• Experience in setting up, using, or configuring CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Git, Ansible, Jenkins, NPM,...)

• Experience with GraphQL and micro frontend architecture.

• Proficiency in Splunk and real-time error tracking

• Prior experience in e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms
